What is the difference between "general admission area" and "grandstands"?
The general admission area basically consists of the lawn surrounding the racetrack. You can either stand or sit in this area wherever you wish, yet this usually provides you with only a limited view of the circuit and the video screens. You may not take folding chairs with you into the racetrack area. Nor does the general admission area provide any shelter in the event of inclement weather.
With a grandstand ticket you can also enter the general admission area.

a) The individual technical steps of concluding a contract via the www.hungaroinfo.com/formel1 website:
The contract will be concluded between you and us in the following way:
- On the page, please select the services and tickets (+/-) you wish to purchase, then click on the corresponding “Order” button.
- Next, select your region and specify the payment method, then click on the “Proceed with order” button.
- Please check the contents of your shopping cart.
- Then enter the data required under “Order information”. Please remember that we will mail the tickets ordered and paid for to the address provided here.
- Please indicate if you wish to use our “gift certificate" service.
- After you read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions and the privacy statement, please tick the corresponding box, and then submit your order, which will constitute a contractual offer toward us.
- The contract will eventually be concluded by way of our e-mail confirmation or the sending of the tickets within 14 days of the order.

How do I get to the circuit by public transportation?
Free bus transportation is offered by the organizers of the Hungarian Grand Prix for ticket holders. Volánbusz buses depart from Budapest Árpád hid Volánbusz station (at the Pest side of Árpád hid, near the Metro station - Árboc u. 1, Budapest) to Mogyoród centre (Templom Square). From Templom Square, the race track is about a 20-30 minutes walk. The service is free of charge for all passengers presenting a valid ticket for the Grand Prix or a ticket pick-up voucher.
Point of departures:
Árpád bridge: from 07.30 till 11.00 every 15-20 minutes, from 11:00 till 16:00 every 30 minutes
Mogyoród church square: from 16.00 till 19.00 every 15-20 minutes
Árpád bridge: from 07.30 till 11.00 every 6-8 minutes, from 11:00 till 16:00 every 30 minutes
Mogyoród church square: from 16.00 till 19.00 every 6-7 minutes
Árpád bridge: from 07.30 till 12.00 every 5-7 minutes, , from 12:00 till 16:00 every 30 minutes
Mogyoród church square: from 16.00 till 19.00 every 5-7 minutes
Another option is to take the suburban railway (Hév). Take the H8 line direction Gödöllő from Örs vezér tere. Örs vezér tere is reachable from Buda and the city center by metro line M2, from North and South Pest by tram line 3 or buses
Trains are operating every 15-20 minutes. Please find the exact timetable here:
From the station “Szilasliget”, gates 3, 4 and 5 are an approx.. 30 minutes walk
From the station “Mogyoród”, gates 1, 2, 7 and 8 can be reached by feet in about 30-40 minutes.
The train is not free of charge, costing approx. HUF 500,00 for a one-way ticket per person. (1€ = approx. HUF 300)
Can you recommend a taxi service?
Budapest/Deák square - Hungaroring approx. 25-35 EUR
Hungaroring - Liszt Ferenc Airport approx. 30-50 EUR
(Only an informative estimation guide price! The amount the Taxi meter shows should be paid!)
The fee is valid (up to 6 persons) between Budapest (including Liszt Ferenc Airport) and Hungaroring. Taxi services operated during the GP have numbered Taxi Stickers provided by Hungaroring Sport Zrt. which gives them the right to access the close areas to the Hungaroring Main Gate.
